Chapter 24: Sunday Dinner
I woke on Sunday morning to Carter's mouth between my legs.
The sun was already on the river.
I had a hand fisted in the sheet and the other in his short hair before I was fully awake.
"Good morning," he said against my thigh.
"You said guests at noon."
"It's eight."
"That's four hours."
"I know," he said.
"I plan to use them well."
He licked me slowly, a long flat drag over my clit, and my hips came off the mattress.
He pinned them down with both big hands and took his time.
He was patient and thorough, until I was shaking and begging and saying his name in a voice I didn't use in public.
I came hard, with my heels digging into his back.
He crawled up my body and lined himself up, and I wrapped my legs around him.
He pushed in slowly, all of it, and we both groaned.
"I'll never get used to this," he said.
"Good."
"You're so warm."
"You're so mine."
I rolled us over and rode him in the morning light, my hands on his chest, watching his face come apart.
