Chapter 15: The Porch Swing

Reyna's POV

I had him on my grandmother's porch swing at two in the morning, and I had not forgiven him.

He had come to her door at midnight with his tie in his pocket and said, "Ma'am, I don't have anywhere to sleep."

Chayo had looked at him for a long time and said, "The sofa. There's pozole."

Now he sat on the swing in the dark in his undershirt.

I stood in front of him in my nightshirt with my arms folded.

The chains creaked.

A dog barked three houses down and quit.

"I'm not forgiving you," I said.

"I know."

"I'm using you."

"Use me," Levi said.

"Hands on the chains."

He took hold of the chains on either side of him and the swing went still.

I knelt on the porch boards between his knees.

I pulled down his shorts and he lifted his hips for me, and his cock came free, thick and flushed in the dark.

I wrapped my hand around the base and kept him there, not moving, until he lifted his eyes to mine.

Then I put my mouth on him.

I took the head between my lips and swirled my tongue under the ridge, and his knuckles whitened on the chains.

"Reyna," he said, strangled. "Christ."

I went down slowly, as far as I could, and drew back with my cheeks hollowed.

He made a sound through his teeth, and the swing trembled.

I worked him with my mouth and my fist, slow and wet, and watched his stomach flex.

When his hips began to rise, I stopped.

I pulled my mouth off him and held him tight at the root.

"Not yet," I said.

"You're killing me."

"You owe me a lot of nights," I said, and licked him once, long, base to tip.

He laughed, helplessly, and swore.

I stood up with his taste still on my tongue.

I put one knee on the swing beside his thigh and then the other.

The whole seat tipped and settled under my weight.

I turned my back to him and lowered myself onto his lap, facing the street.
