Santino read the red line twice.
Then he folded the card in half very slowly.
"No," he said.
"I'm going."
"She wants you there to film you. She wants you to cry in front of a hundred people."
"I know what she wants." I took the card from him and flattened it on the table. "She'll be wearing my mother's rosary."
He looked at me.
"And you'll take it back," he said.
"In front of a hundred people."
He sighed through his nose.
"I'm driving."
"You're coming in," I said. "Wear the good suit."
