Chapter 10: Two Locks

Raylan lived on the fourth floor of his own warehouse, behind two locks.

I knew because I stood behind him on the stairs at midnight while he fumbled the second key.

My hands were already under his jacket.

"You're going to drop them," he said.

"Then drop them faster."

The door swung open on a long dark loft with brick walls and half-unpacked boxes.

There was one leather couch and a wall of windows over the lit-up skyline.

He shut the door and turned both locks, click, click, and I hit him against it with my whole body.

He caught my face and kissed me.

"The note on this place," I said into his mouth. "Two million."

"Not tonight."

"Raylan..."

"Not tonight, Waverly."

He pulled my hoodie over my head and tossed it, then his jacket, then his tie.

I got his shirt open with both hands and bit the center of his chest.

He swore.

He walked me backward across the loft until my back hit the cold glass.

The whole city lay behind me, gold and shaking.

"Hands up," he said.

I put them up flat against the glass.

He undid my jeans and dragged them down my legs.

Then he dropped to his knees on the floorboards and put his mouth between my thighs.

I made a sound I didn't recognize.

He licked me slowly, with the flat of his tongue, then circled my clit and sucked it, and my knees nearly went.

"Don't move your hands," he said, lips wet against my skin.

"I can't..."

"You can."

His beard scraped the inside of my thigh.

He slid two fingers into my pussy and curled them while his tongue worked me, steady and merciless.

The pleasure climbed my spine so fast that I banged my head against the window.
