Chapter 8: The Hairbrush

I gave them until the end of the night.

They had both come back at nine, showered and shaved, carrying a bag of takeout neither of us opened.

Colt had stood at the foot of my bed and looked at my dresser.

"That one," he said.

It was my hairbrush.

It was a big oval paddle of walnut, flat on the back.

My grandmother had given it to me at sixteen, and I had used it every morning since.

"My brush."

"Yes, ma'am."

"You want to spank me with my hairbrush," I said.

"I want you to give it to me," Colt said. "I want you to tell me to use it."

I looked at him for a long time, with the heat climbing up my neck.

Then I picked it up off the dresser, and put the handle in his hand.

"Use it," I said.

"Say it better."

"Use my hairbrush on me, Colt."

"Where?" Colt said.

"On my ass."

"How hard?"

"Slow," I said. "Exact. I want to feel every single one."

"Anything else?"

"Make me say thank you," I said, before I could think. "After each one."

His chipped tooth flashed.

"Jesse," he said. "Get on the bed."

Jesse got on the bed.

He lay down on his back across my quilt with his head at the edge, naked and flushed and already half hard.

He looked up at me with those brown eyes.

"Over me," Colt said. "Knees on either side of his head. Hands on the mattress."

I climbed over him.

I knelt with my thighs bracketing his face, facing the foot of the bed.

I put my palms flat and my forehead nearly on the quilt.

Jesse's breath hit me, warm.

"Hi," he whispered, from underneath.

"Hi."

"Is that right?" he said, and he put his mouth on me.

I jolted and my arms nearly gave way.

His tongue went slowly and lightly, teasing, then flat and deep, and I rocked down onto his mouth with a sound I didn't plan.
