Chapter 9: The Sugar Bowl
Do-hyun put a palm in the middle of Woo-jin's chest and shoved him flat on the mattress.
It was Tuesday night, and the lamp was still on.
Woo-jin had come home late with a tired grey look under his eyes and a plastic bag from the corner shop.
In the bag was a box of strawberries, because Beom-su had told him the boy liked them.
Do-hyun had eaten four, then looked at the man holding the box, and walked him backward to the bed.
Now he knelt over Woo-jin's hips with one knee on each side, in nothing but his own skin.
"You don't lead tonight," he said.
"Don't I?"
"No."
Woo-jin's eyebrows went up, the scar splitting one of them.
His hands lay open on the sheet, easy, and he did not try to move them.
"Then tell me what you want."
"I want you to lie still," Do-hyun said.
"For how long?"
"Until I say."
Woo-jin looked up at him, and a slow dark heat came into his face.
"Do-hyun," he said. "I don't take orders well."
"You'll take this one."
Do-hyun leaned down and kissed him.
He took his time over it.
He kissed him with an open mouth and a slow tongue, biting the lower lip a little and letting go.
His hands slid up the sides of Woo-jin's ribs.
Woo-jin's whole body tensed under him.
It strained against the effort of not moving, and it was wonderful.
"You're shaking," Do-hyun said, into his mouth.
"You're on top of me."
"I know I am."
He reached for the nightstand.
The oil was where it always was, and the crystal bowl glittered beside it.
He took a sugar cube, held it up between two fingers, and looked down at Woo-jin.
"Open."
Woo-jin's lips parted.
It was the same word he had said a dozen times, and the same eyes met his, and he opened.
Do-hyun set the cube on his tongue.
Woo-jin closed his eyes, and his throat worked.
