Chapter 19: Claimed

They knelt in a row on the sleeping bags, three big men in a small tent, and none of them looked at the others.

Noah zipped the flap.

He stood over them for a long moment and let the silence do what it wanted.

Then William spoke.

"Before you say anything."

"I'm not going to say anything."

"Let us do this for you." William's voice was rough. "Not decide. Ask. Can we?"

Noah looked down at him.

At the black hair, the careful hands resting on his own knees, the man who had begged to be fucked twenty-four hours ago.

"What is this?"

"An apology," Henry said. "In the only language we're all fluent in."

"You three have no idea how to apologize."

"Then teach us," said Troy.

Noah shut his eyes.

He was tired, and the fight had drained the heat from him, and under the tiredness lay something simple and old.

He wanted to be held.

"Okay," he said. "Yes. But slowly."

They moved all at once, and then carefully.

Hands took off his hoodie.

Hands took off his shirt.

Troy knelt behind him and kissed the back of his neck.

William knelt in front and undid his jeans with great gentleness, as if opening a letter.

Henry took his face between both palms.

"We love you," Henry said. "That's the whole confession. We are very bad at it."

"I know."

"Do you?"

"I know," Noah said. His throat hurt. "Come here."

Henry kissed him.

It was slow and deep and tasted of coffee and woodsmoke, and Henry's thumb stroked along his cheekbone.

William's mouth closed around his cock.

Noah's knees almost went.

Warm, wet, practiced and eager, William sucked him down to the root, and his hands held Noah's hips.

Troy's tongue traced his spine.

Troy's slick fingers circled his hole.

"Can I?" Troy whispered against his skin.

"Yes."

One finger slid in, and then two.

Noah moaned into Henry's mouth.
