Chapter 7: Day Seven

By the seventh day, the heats were coming one a day and shrinking.

Shen Yan's last one had been a gentle ache that passed with a kiss and a glass of water.

Xiao Chen thought the week was nearly over.

Only the car was left.

It sat in a scrapyard on the east side, and on Monday a crusher would flatten it.

He had promised to be there first, and tomorrow was Sunday.

He was in the shower on Saturday evening when his legs gave way.

It was not the heat he knew from before the coma.

That one had been a monthly appointment, tamed by a pill.

This one came all at once, six months of lapsed blockers released together.

He put both hands on the tiles and breathed through his teeth.

Slick ran down the backs of his thighs, warm, and he was hard so suddenly that it hurt.

"Xiao Chen?"

The bathroom door opened a crack.

Shen Yan stood there with a towel over his shoulder, rested and calm.

Then he smelled it.

His face changed.

"Oh," he said. "It's you."

"Go to the other room."

"No."

"Shen Yan, I don't want you to see me like this."

"You've seen me like this four times." He stepped inside and shut the door behind him. "Can I help you?"

Xiao Chen stared at him through the water.

A week ago he had been in a hospital bed.

He had never in his life asked anyone to help him with this.

His voice came out low and cracked.

"Yes."

Shen Yan turned off the shower.

He wrapped Xiao Chen in a towel and took his wrist.

He led him through the flat to the big bed, step by step.

He laid him on his back.

"Tell me what to do," he said. "Tell me the way you told me."

"Take your clothes off."

Shen Yan pulled his shirt over his head and let the trousers fall.

Xiao Chen watched him with a hunger that frightened him.

The boy's cock stood hard against his stomach, and his skin was flushed from the neck down.
