Chapter 3: Under the Monitor
With the monitor gone and both of them hard, Do-yoon starts the first touch himself.
The mattress dipped under Jae-wook's weight, and the breath left Do-yoon's body all at once.
Jae-wook braced his forearms on either side of Do-yoon's head and pulled the blanket up over both of them.
His whole body was a wall of heat.
"Don't talk," Jae-wook said into his ear. "Just look like you like it."
"I don't like it."
"Then look like you're lying about not liking it."
Two soft taps sounded on the bedroom door.
Then the door opened.
The monitor was a man in a grey overcoat with a clipboard, and he had the face of someone paid by the hour.
Light from the hall fell across the bed.
Do-yoon turned his face into Jae-wook's throat so the man would see only his hair.
It was a mistake.
Jae-wook's skin was hot against his mouth, and he smelled of cedar and soap and the sea.
His pulse beat under Do-yoon's lips, quick and hard.
It wasn't the pulse of a man who was only acting.
"Apologies," the monitor said, looking at his clipboard. "One bed. Both present. Shared bedroom confirmed."
"Get out," Jae-wook said, without lifting his head. "Please. It's our wedding night."
"Of course."
The door clicked shut.
The man's steps went down the stairs, the front door closed, and the house was quiet.
Neither of them moved.
Do-yoon could feel every inch of Jae-wook from his chest to his knees.
He could also feel, very clearly, that Jae-wook was hard against his thigh.
Do-yoon was hard too.
He had been for about a minute and a half.
"He's gone," Do-yoon said.
"Yes."
"You can get off me."
"In a second."
Jae-wook's breath was uneven on his neck, and he still hadn't moved.
Do-yoon should have shoved him off.
He knew exactly what would happen if he didn't.
But his belly was tight with wanting, and he had been alone in a cold bed for a very long time.
Jae-wook lifted his head.
In the dark his eyes were nearly black.
"Say it," Jae-wook said, low. "If you want me off. Say it and I'll take the sofa."
Do-yoon looked at his mouth.
He didn't say it.
Instead he took Jae-wook's waistcoat by its open edge, which Jae-wook had never taken off, and dragged him down.
This kiss was nothing like the one at the registry.
Nobody was watching.
There was only Jae-wook's mouth and his hands, and the sound Do-yoon made when their tongues slid together.
Jae-wook groaned into his mouth.
His hips rolled down against Do-yoon once, slow, and Do-yoon felt all of him, thick and hot through two layers of cloth.
"Hwan Jae-wook," Do-yoon said, against his lips.
"Mm."
"You're enormous."
Jae-wook laughed, breathless and helpless.
"Is that a complaint?"
"It's an observation."
"You're the one who started this."
"I know I started it."
Do-yoon pushed at his shoulder, and Jae-wook rolled onto his back.
Do-yoon came up over him and sat on his thighs.
The waistcoat had to go first.
He opened it button by button, slowly, because he wanted to watch Jae-wook's face while he did it.
Jae-wook lay there with his chest rising and his hands open on the sheets, letting him.
Under the shirt he was solid and brown, with a line of dark hair running from his navel down into his waistband.
Do-yoon laid his palm flat on that stomach.
The muscles jumped.
"Do-yoon," Jae-wook said, very quietly.
"Don't talk."
Do-yoon found the belt and undid it.
His hands were not quite steady.
He got the zip down and pushed the cloth aside.
Jae-wook's cock came out into his hand, heavy and hot and so thick that Do-yoon's fingers didn't close around it.
Do-yoon stared.
A bead of wetness already shone at the tip.
"Oh, you son of a bitch," he whispered.
"Is that a complaint too?"
"It's the same observation."
Do-yoon stroked him once, root to tip, and Jae-wook made a rough sound in his chest.
His hips came off the bed.
Then Jae-wook's hand covered Do-yoon's and pulled it away.
"Not like this," Jae-wook said. "Not just me. Get yours out."
Do-yoon's pulse hit his throat.
"Make me."
Jae-wook's mouth curved, slow and wicked, in that crooked smile.
"You asked for it."
He sat up, took Do-yoon by the hips, and rolled them over so that Do-yoon landed on his back.
The waistband of Do-yoon's sleep trousers went down in one yank.
Do-yoon was bare and hard in the cool air before he had finished the thought.
Jae-wook looked at him for a long second.
"Look at you," Jae-wook said, roughly. "All that starch, and under it, this."
"Shut up."
"Make me."
Jae-wook settled between his thighs, lay down over him, and brought their bodies together.
His cock slid against Do-yoon's, hot and slick, and he wrapped one big hand around both of them.
Do-yoon made a sound he had never made in his life.
"There," Jae-wook said into his hair. "There he is."
"I hate you."
"I know."
"I really hate you."
"Keep telling me."
Jae-wook stroked them together in long, hard pulls.
The grip of his hand and the heat of his cock dragged a moan out of Do-yoon that he tried to swallow.
Jae-wook felt it and rocked harder.
Do-yoon's hands found his shoulders, and his nails dug in through the shirt.
His heels pressed into the mattress, and his hips lifted to meet Jae-wook's without his permission.
"That's it," Jae-wook breathed. "Take what you want. I'm right here."
"Don't be nice to me."
"I'm not being nice. I'm being greedy."
He kissed Do-yoon again, sloppy now, and Do-yoon tasted his smile against his teeth.
Everything went tight and bright and close.
"I'm going to," Do-yoon said, helpless. "Jae-wook, I'm going to, I can't."
"Then do it."
"Say my name."
"Do-yoon."
Jae-wook said it with a rasp, right against his ear.
That was all it took.
Do-yoon came hard in Jae-wook's fist, with a cry he would have denied under oath, hot and pulsing between their stomachs.
Jae-wook swore, low and soft, and his hips stuttered once, twice.
Then he came too, shuddering over Do-yoon, his groan pressed into the side of Do-yoon's neck and wet heat spilling across his skin.
They lay there tangled and sticky.
The city glittered on the other side of the window.
Slowly Do-yoon's heart came back down.
Jae-wook didn't roll away.
He lay on Do-yoon like a very large blanket and breathed against his collarbone.
Then, to Do-yoon's horror, Jae-wook laughed softly, his shoulders shaking.
"What?"
"Nothing."
"What is it?"
"That wasn't in the contract," Jae-wook said.
Do-yoon stared at the ceiling.
"No, it wasn't."
"So you started something that wasn't in the contract."
"I'm aware."
"Say no, then. If you're going to call it a mistake."
Do-yoon thought about it.
Jae-wook's weight was warm on him, and every nerve in his body was humming.
"No," Do-yoon said. "I'm not saying it."
Jae-wook raised his head.
"Then I'm not going anywhere," he said.
He kissed the corner of Do-yoon's mouth, quickly.
Do-yoon was too tired to be angry.
He was almost happy.
That scared him far more than the wills had.
