Chapter 10: Alpha

The wheelhouse of the Dora B. was eight feet by ten, and I had him against the chart table before the door shut.

Behind us the harbor was dark and the wharf was loud.

The whole Bay was drinking on the planks, and somebody had a fiddle, and nobody would miss the Alpha for an hour.

"You didn't move," I said into his mouth.

"You told me not to."

"I know. It nearly killed you. I saw it."

"It did," he said.

He laughed, and kissed me, and his hands shook on my back.

I had a bruise coming up on my ribs and a split lip, and I felt wonderful.

I could have pulled the whole harbor out by the roots.

I kissed him until the windows fogged.

I stripped his coat off him and his flannel shirt and the undershirt beneath it.

I ran my palms over his chest, over the scar, and felt the muscle jump under my hands.

"Take off the rest," I said.

He took it off.

He stood naked in my father's wheelhouse with the cold coming off the glass behind him.

His cock stood hard against his stomach, and his eyes never left my face.

"On your knees," I said.

He went down on the worn deck plates in front of me.

"Hands behind your back."

He clasped them behind him.

He knelt there, broad and bearded and enormous, and he looked up at me and waited.

I sat on the edge of the chart table and drew my sweater over my head.

I took off my bra, and my jeans, and my underwear, and dropped them on his knee.

I leaned back on my palms, with the cold metal under my thighs and the chart curling beneath my hands.

"Watch," I said.

I spread my knees.

I touched myself, with two fingers, slowly, circling my clit, and I watched him watch me.

His breath came harder.

His eyes dropped to my hand and stayed there, dark and hungry.

"Don't touch me," I said. "Don't touch yourself."

"No," he said.

"Don't look away."

"I won't."

I slid two fingers inside, and I shuddered at the wet sound of it.

I curled them, and my head fell back against the bulkhead.
