"It isn't bro stuff," said Tang, against the wall of the hallway, with his belt in Fu's hands and his hair dripping on the floor.
"Say what it is."
"It's the opposite of bro stuff. I'm yours."
Tang's voice shook.
"I'll do the rehab. Every kick on your sheet, every rest day, every ice bath. You decide. I'm giving it to you."
Fu had heard the words I love you twice, once from a stage and once from a roof.
He had not known there was another thing Tang could give him.
He had not known it would feel like this, a weight set down in his hands.
"Again," he said.
"I'm yours, Lingchen. Do what you like with me."
Fu kissed him to stop the words, because he could not bear to hear them and could not bear for them to stop.
They did not make it to the bedroom for a while.
The hall was dark and cold, with the red glow of the neon sign on the ceiling.
The whiteboard hung crooked over the shoe cabinet.
Fu pressed him back against the wall, one hand flat beside his head, and felt Tang's whole body go loose and willing under him.
He was not shy tonight.
He had learned in two weeks what Tang's skin did under his thumbs, and where his breath caught, and how long to wait.
