Chapter 7: Do It Wrong

"Wrong how?" Nero said.

"Every way there is."

I took the bandaged hand and put it flat against my stomach.

His fingers curled into my shirt.

"You don't report," I said. "You don't count. You don't bring me anywhere because somebody told you to."

"Mona."

"I'm not your assignment. I'm an eighteen-year-old girl who's going to take your clothes off."

His eyes went black.

I pulled his coat off his shoulders and let it drop, and I started on his shirt buttons, and he stood there and let me.

Every button, one at a time, slow.

When the shirt fell open I put my mouth on the thin white scar across his ribs.

He sucked in a breath.

"Bed," I said.

"I'll decide where."

"You're not deciding tonight."

I shoved him.

He went back two steps and sat on the edge of the bed, with a look on his face I hadn't seen before.

He looked at me like he was actually afraid of what I'd do.

I pulled my sweater off, my jeans, my underwear, until I stood bare in the lamplight.

"Lie back," I said.

"You're giving orders now?"

"Lie back, Nero."

He lay back.

I climbed over him and unbuckled his belt, and I dragged his pants down his legs.

He was already rock hard.

I wrapped my hand around him and squeezed once, and his head fell back against the pillow.

"Fuck," he said.

"Not yet."

I lowered my mouth and took him deep, and kept going, until his hand tangled in my hair and his hips lifted off the sheets.

I sucked him slowly, running my tongue along the vein, and he muttered my name in two languages.

"Stop," he said. "Stop, or I won't last."

I let him slide out of my mouth, wet and throbbing.

"Then don't."

I straddled him, braced both hands on his chest, and sank down on him inch by inch.

He filled me so completely I had to stop halfway and breathe.

His hands came up to my hips.

"Take it," Nero said, low. "All of it. I know you can."
