Chapter 10: The Music Room

His mouth opened under mine, and the whole room went away.

Killian's hands came up and held my face.

I took his wrists and pulled them down.

"No," I said against his lips. "You don't get to be gentle."

"Romy."

"You've been careful for three years. I'm sick of careful."

He looked up at me, dark-eyed, breathing hard.

"Tell me what you want," he said.

"I want you on the floor."

He laughed, one short, helpless breath, and slid off the bench.

The rug in front of the piano was thick and old, a faded red Persian with a worn patch near the pedals.

I knelt over him, one knee on either side of his hips, and unbuttoned his shirt with fingers that shook.

His chest was warm and rose and fell fast under my palms.

I leaned down and bit him, right over his heart.

He swore, low, and arched.

"Good," I said.

"Romy, God."

"Take it off."

He sat up long enough to throw the shirt across the room.

I pulled my sweater over my head and dropped it on the dust sheet.

His eyes went down my body, slow and hungry, and he made a rough noise in his throat that made my thighs clench.

"You're so beautiful," he said. "I've missed you so much. I've thought about this every night."

"Don't talk."

"I can't help it."

"Then talk dirty or shut up."

His mouth curved.

"You're furious," he said. "And you're so wet I can feel it through my trousers."

I rolled my hips against him, hard, and he groaned.

"Say that again."

"I can feel you," he said hoarsely. "Through your jeans. Through everything."

I reached back and unclasped my bra and tossed it away.

His hands found my breasts, thumbs sweeping over my nipples, and I gasped and ground down on him.

"Killian."

"Yes."

"Take my jeans off."

He flipped us over so fast my head spun.

He knelt between my legs and worked the button open.
