Chapter 11: Mark Me
"Mark me," Do-hyun said.
The lift doors had barely closed behind them.
It was a quarter to midnight on Thursday, and the penthouse was dark except for the river light coming through the glass.
He had Woo-jin's tie in his fist.
He pulled it, and Woo-jin let himself be pulled.
Do-hyun shoved him back against the wall by the window and kissed him with his whole weight.
The kiss was desperate.
It tasted of champagne he hadn't drunk and the sugar Woo-jin had eaten in the car.
"Do-hyun-"
"Mark me. Here."
He pulled his collar open and tilted his head and bared the side of his throat.
"Above the collar. Where everyone can see it."
"You know my rule," Woo-jin said.
"I know your rule. Break it."
Woo-jin's hands closed on his upper arms.
"The photographers-"
"Let them look."
"Why?" Woo-jin asked, low. "Tell me why, and I'll do whatever you want."
Do-hyun looked past his shoulder at the black glass.
The man in the camel coat had stood behind his eyes all night.
I'll bring the bill.
Friday midnight.
"I want to be somebody's," he said, and it was the truest sentence he had said in a week. "I want anyone who sees me to know it. Please, Woo-jin."
Woo-jin's grip went hard.
His jaw worked.
Then, with a short rough sound, he turned them both and pinned Do-hyun against the window, with the whole sleeping city spread out below.
"Hands on the glass," he said.
"Yes."
"Don't take them off."
Do-hyun put his hands flat against the cold pane.
Woo-jin's mouth came down on the side of his neck.
It was not gentle.
His teeth closed on the skin below the jaw, and he bit down and sucked.
A bolt of pain went through Do-hyun and bloomed into heat.
"Oh," he said. "Yes. Again."
"Quiet."
"Harder," Do-hyun said.
"You don't give orders."
