Chapter 10: The Bite
August did not move.
He lay under Eliot with the knot swelling in him and his hands still linked behind his head.
He looked as though someone had pressed a blade against his heart and told him to be careful.
"Once I do it, it stays," he said.
"I know what it is."
"For good. Whoever you meet, whatever happens to us, you'll carry my scent on that gland until you die."
"I know."
"You said rule three. You said never."
"I said a lot of things on a Monday." Eliot leaned down until their mouths almost touched. "I'm saying this on a Sunday, and I'm saying it with your cock inside me. Bite me."
August's hands came out from behind his head and framed Eliot's face.
They were shaking.
"Say it again."
"Mark me. Make it so the whole city smells you when I walk in a room. Make Grayson choke on it."
"That's not why I..."
"I know why you." Eliot tipped his head sideways and bared his throat. "This is why me."
August's breath broke.
He sat up, rolling Eliot with him.
Eliot sat in his lap with his thighs spread around the big hips and the knot locked deep.
