Chapter 10: My Door

Leah's POV

His fingers moved against me, slow and sure, and I stopped thinking.

I had not been touched in six months.

I had not been touched like this in longer than I could remember, and it was a strange thing to say, because I couldn't remember.

All I had was now.

Erik's mouth was at my throat, and his big hand was between my legs, and every stroke of his thumb sent heat up my spine.

"Like that?" he said.

"Yes. Don't change it."

"I won't."

I dug my heels into the mattress and pushed up into his hand.

I was close already, which embarrassed me, and I said so.

"Good," he said against my skin. "Come for me, Leah."

I came with a cry I couldn't hold in, and my whole body clenched around his fingers.

He kept stroking until I shook.

Then he lifted his head and looked at me, and his eyes were black.

"Again?" he said.

"I want you inside me."

"Say it properly."

I took a breath.

He made a rough sound and sat back on his heels to push down his jeans.

I reached for him and wrapped my hand around him, and he groaned and dropped his forehead against mine.

"Not yet," he said. "Not if you keep that up."

"Leah."

"It's my door," I said. "I say when."

He laughed once, breathless, and stripped off my underwear.

He knelt between my knees and put his hands under my thighs and pulled me against him.
