Peg took the first copy out of the box before I could.
She turned it over in her hands.
She opened it to the front and found the dedication with one finger.
For Peg, who swung the stick.
She closed it again, very fast.
"Well," she said. "I did swing it."
Then she went out to the loading dock, and I let her go.
