Chapter 19: Loud

The pool was black and warm, and the house was dark.

My mother and Drake's father had gone to bed at ten.

Their door at the far end of the hall was closed.

At one in the morning the five of us stood at the shallow end in the string lights.

Nobody had said what we were doing.

Dean pulled his shirt over his head and tossed it on a lounge chair.

"Well?" he said. "Are we swimming?"

"I thought you wanted to do something about the adrenaline," Finley said.

"I do. I want to do it wet."

I laughed, and then I unbuttoned my dress.

I let it drop on the stones, and stepped out of my underwear, and walked down the steps into the water.

It slid up my thighs and over my hips.

Behind me I heard four men stop talking.

I turned around at waist depth.

They stood in a row at the edge, looking at me.

"You coming?" I said.

They came in all at once, in a spray, and Gabe went under and came up laughing.

For a minute it was just a swim.

Then Drake got to me first and pulled me against his chest, wet skin on wet skin.

He kissed me in the middle of the pool.

His hand ran down my back and gripped my ass.

"Hi," he said.

"Hi."

"You were incredible tonight."

"You said that already."

"I'm going to keep saying it."

I felt hands on my shoulders from behind, and Finley's mouth against the side of my neck.

"My turn," he said softly.

He lifted me out of Drake's arms and carried me to the edge.

He set me on the cold stone with my feet in the water.

Then he knelt on the pool step between my knees.

"Lean back," he said.

I leaned back on my hands.

He spread my thighs wide and put his mouth on my pussy.

The water lapped at his shoulders.

He licked me slowly.

The stone was cold under my hands and his tongue was hot, and I gasped up at the stars.

Gabe came up beside me and laid a hand on my stomach.
