Chapter 14: Hold It

I set the oven timer on his nightstand to sixty minutes and turned the dial until it ticked.

It was the red one from the bakery, with a chipped base and a bell.

Griffin looked at it, and then at me, and a sound came out of his chest that was half a laugh.

"That's not a bedroom clock," he said.

"It's the only clock I trust."

He lay naked in the middle of his bed with his arms at his sides and the lamp on his skin.

He was already hard.

He had been hard since the van, and he had said so twice at supper.

I knelt beside his hip in my robe and untied the belt.

"Rules," I said.

"Your hands stay on the sheet."

"Yes."

"You don't come until I say."

"Yes, ma'am."

"If you get close, you tell me.

"If you don't tell me, I stop for good."

"I'll tell you."

"Good boy."

His cock twitched against his stomach, and I hadn't touched it yet.

I let the robe slide off my shoulders.

I straddled one of his thighs, with my bare pussy resting on the hard muscle above his knee.

Then I leaned down and kissed him.

I kissed him for a long time.

His tongue chased mine and his beard rasped my chin, and his hips lifted off the mattress every few seconds and settled again.

The timer ticked on the nightstand.

I slid my hand down his chest, over the wolf's paw and the old scars.

I crossed the ridges of his stomach and stopped just above his cock.

"Etta."

"Mm."

"Touch me."

"I'm touching you."

"Lower."

"No."

I dragged my nails up the inside of his other thigh instead, and he made a noise.

Then I wrapped my hand around him.

I stroked him once from root to tip, slow, with a twist at the head.

His breath hitched and his heels pushed into the bed.

I stroked him again, and again, a lazy rhythm, thumb catching the wet at the slit.
