Chapter 15: Fair Is Fair

I took him in one slow inch at a time, and he swore at the ceiling.

"Claire. Fuck. You're tight."

"It's been a while," I said, and my voice shook.

His hands closed on my hips.

"Take it," he said. "All of it. I've got you."

I sank down until his cock filled me completely, and we both stopped breathing.

Then I moved.

I rode him slowly at first, with my palms flat on his chest and his heartbeat going hard under them.

He watched my face the whole time.

"Look at you," he said. "Christ. Look at you."

I rolled my hips and he pushed up into me, deep, and the sound I made was one I had not made in years.

"Quiet," he whispered, and he was smiling. "The baby."

"Then make me quiet."

He sat up and wrapped one arm around my back and put his other hand over my mouth.

He fucked up into me from underneath, hard, and I moaned into his palm.

My thighs shook.

His mouth found my neck and my breast and my neck again, and the whole bed knocked softly against the wall.

"Rafe," I said against his hand. "More."

He took his hand away and kissed me instead.

Then he turned us over in one move, and my back hit the mattress.

He pushed my knees up and back, and he drove into me.

I wrapped my legs around his waist and dug my heels into his ass.

"Harder," I said.

"You're so wet. You feel so good. I've wanted this since the day I saw you in that hospital bed."

"Liar. I had a gown and a sheet over me."

"I wanted it anyway," he said, and his rhythm broke.

He slid a hand between us and rubbed my clit with his thumb in small hard circles.
