Chapter 24: Two Caterpillars
Beau unfolded a sheet of paper that was clearly a napkin.
"I'd like to thank the team for another great season," he said. "I'd like to thank the coach, who does not understand what has been happening, and has decided he prefers it that way."
The coach, at the far end of the table, raised a glass with great serenity.
"I'd like to thank the dining hall, for the oatmeal," Beau said. "And I'd like to thank two people for making me the best-informed man at Carroway College, against my will."
