Chapter 29: Two Hours

I read Shelby's text twice in the gray light and put the phone face down on my chest.

Ty was asleep on his stomach with one arm across my waist, and his breath was warm on my ribs.

"Wake up," I said.

He didn't move.

I ran my nails down his spine, slowly, and he shivered and opened one eye.

"Is it the baby?"

"The baby's with Pete. It's Eli."

He was up on his elbow at once, and I handed him the phone.

He read it and set his jaw.

"What time?"

"She wants us at eight. It's ten to six."

He rubbed his face with both hands.

"Then we have two hours," I said.

He looked at me.

I pushed back the sheet and got out of bed, naked, and walked to the bathroom without checking if he followed.

He followed.

I turned the shower on and stepped under it, and the hot water ran down my back.

He stood in the doorway for a moment with his eyes on the water sliding down my body, and then he stepped in behind me and shut the glass.

I turned and put my palms on his chest and pushed him back against the tile.

"My turn," I said.

I sank to my knees on the wet floor.

His cock was already hard again, jutting against his stomach, and I took it in my hand and licked the head.

He swore under his breath.
