Chapter 5: Third Wave

The third wave hit at three in the morning.

Xiao Chen woke to the scent before he heard the door.

It came under the frame of his bedroom and filled the dark with orange blossom.

His own body answered it before his mind did.

The door opened.

Shen Yan stood in the gap in nothing but a shirt that hung to his thighs.

His bare legs shone with slick, and one hand was braced on the frame.

His cock was already hard under the cotton. His eyes were enormous.

"I tried to wait," he said. "I tried for an hour. It's so bad. Please."

"Come here."

He crossed the room in three stumbling steps and climbed onto the bed.

Xiao Chen caught him around the waist and pulled him in against his chest.

Shen Yan's skin was burning.

He turned his face into Xiao Chen's neck, breathed in, and moaned.

"You smell like honey. You smell so good, I can't think."

"Then don't think."

Xiao Chen rolled them over until the boy lay under him, and stripped the shirt over his head.

For the first time he looked at all of him in the lamplight.

Shen Yan was slight and pale, his ribs showing and his nipples tight and dark.

His hard cock curved up against his stomach and leaked onto the skin.

"Take your shirt off too," Shen Yan whispered. "Please. I want to see you."

Xiao Chen pulled his T-shirt off and dropped it on the floor.

Shen Yan reached up and flattened both palms against his chest.

He slid them down over his stomach to the waistband.

"You didn't let me last time."

"Last time was your first heat."

"This is my third."

He hooked his thumbs in the waistband and pulled.

Xiao Chen's cock jumped free, thick and flushed and already wet at the head.

Shen Yan stared at it, then looked up with a dazed, greedy smile.

"Is that going to fit?"

"We'll make it fit."

He kissed him.

It was the first time he had kissed anyone since Chi Feng, and nothing about it was the same.
