Chapter 11: South Wind
The first gust hit the Lucia from the south and rolled her to her rail.
I got the cabin hatch shut and turned around to find him already naked.
The forepeak was a tight triangle of varnished wood.
Two narrow berths sat in a V, and a brass lamp swung on a hook.
Rain hammered the deck above us.
"We have until two," Tiago said. "Then the water starts to drop and I take her out."
"That's hours," I said.
"Yes."
"Then we don't have to hurry."
I pulled my sweater over my head and dropped it.
I took my time with the rest, in the lamplight, with the boat heaving.
My balance was good under me, because I had been born with a deck under my feet.
He watched with his hands open at his sides.
"Come here," I said.
He came.
I took his face in both hands and kissed him slowly, with my mouth open, tasting him and the rain.
It was the gentlest kiss I had given him.
It surprised us both.
He pulled back and looked at me.
"Slow," I said. "I want it slow tonight. Then I want it fast. Do you understand me?"
"I understand," he said.
"Lie down."
He lay on the port berth.
I climbed up beside him, then over him.
I turned until my knees were on either side of his head and my face was above his hips.
"Oh," he said, with deep appreciation.
"Mouth, Tiago," I said.
He lifted his head and put his mouth on me.
I lowered my body onto his and took his cock between my lips at the same moment.
He groaned into me, and the sound went through my whole body.
I shut my eyes.
