Chapter 11: Page Forty-One

Tamara's POV

He caught the folder before it hit the floor and set it on the arm of the couch.

Then his hands were in my hair, and he kissed me hard, with nothing held back this time.

"You said not tonight," I said against his mouth.

"It's morning."

"That's a technicality."

"It's the only kind I respect."

I laughed, and he swallowed it, and I walked him backward until the backs of his knees hit the couch.

He sat.

I stood between his knees with his jacket falling off my shoulders to the carpet.

My dress was still unzipped from the night before.

He looked up at me with the first gray light behind him.

"Tell me what you want," he said.

"I want your rule broken."

"Which one?"

"All of them."

His hands settled on my hips, and he pulled me down until I straddled him.

I felt how hard he was through his trousers, pressed right where I ached.

I ground down on him without any shame at all.

He groaned.

It was a low, rough sound, and I felt it everywhere.

"Tamara."

"Say it again."

"Tamara." His mouth found my throat. "Tamara, God."

The dress slid down my arms.

He had already undone my bra the night before, and now it fell away, and he looked at me with his lips parted.

"Look at you," he said.

His hands cupped my breasts, and his thumbs dragged over my nipples, and I gasped and arched into his palms.

He took one in his mouth.

I held his head and said his name, and I felt him smile against my skin.

I got his shirt open with shaking fingers and spread my hands over his chest, over hot skin and a thudding heart.
