Chapter 8: Report

The sash was grey silk, three arm-lengths long, the only fine thing Rin owned.

She looped it twice around Kaede's wrists and knotted it to the iron rail at the head of the cot.

Kaede lay beneath her, naked, arms stretched above her head.

Her hands could have slipped free in a moment.
