Chapter 9: Slower
"Slower," said Seo-wan into the pillow.
Behind her, the King went slower.
She was on her hands and knees at the edge of his bed.
Her cheek was pressed to the cool silk, and her hair spilled across the cushion.
Her skirt was gone, and her jacket hung open off one shoulder.
He knelt behind her with his hands on her hips.
His cock slid out of her, inch by inch, until only the head stayed inside.
Then he pushed back in, the same slow distance, and she moaned into the pillow.
"Like that?" he whispered.
"Exactly like that. Don't speed up."
"It's so hard not to."
"I know. Do it anyway."
The outer door stood open a hand's width, as it did every night now.
A guard's shadow lay across the floor beyond the screen, sitting quite still.
Neither of them had said a word about it.
He drew out and pushed in again, a long deliberate stroke.
The tip of him dragged across a place deep inside her that made her toes curl.
"There," she breathed. "Oh. There. Again."
"Here?"
"There."
He found it again, and again, with a steady patience that undid her.
Her back arched, and she pushed her hips up to meet him.
"Good," she said. "So good. You listen so well."
He made a low sound behind her, half laugh and half groan.
"I've never been praised so much for doing nothing."
"You aren't doing nothing. You're doing exactly what I want."
His hands tightened on her hips.
"Tell me what else you want."
She thought about it.
It was an odd thing to be asked, and she answered honestly.
