Chapter 11: The Sash
"Kneel," Do-yun said, "in the middle of the quilt, facing me."
Gyeol knelt.
He was naked already, and his huge body was bright gold in the light of the single lamp.
His hair was tied back for once with a strip of cloth, and his chest was rising and falling fast.
Do-yun walked around him slowly.
In his hands he held his own sash, a long band of plain grey cotton that he had worn every day since the Bureau.
"Hands behind you," he said.
Gyeol put them there, crossed at the wrists.
Do-yun wound the sash around them, once, twice, three times, and tied it off at the small of Gyeol's back.
He did not pull it tight.
He pulled it just tight enough that the cloth held, and the knot sat against the base of Gyeol's spine.
"Can you move your hands?"
"A little."
"Can you get free?"
"If I wanted to." Gyeol's voice was steady, and low, and full of breath. "I don't want to."
Do-yun came around to the front and sat down on his heels, a foot away.
He looked at Gyeol for a long moment.
The broad shoulders pulled back, the scarred ribs, the cock standing hard and dark against his stomach and already wet at the tip.
The eyes, fixed on him, black and bright.
"This is the pose," Do-yun said. "It's the only one I want tonight."
"Yes, Master."
"If you move, I stop. If you make a sound the guards could hear, I stop. If you look away, I stop."
"I understand."
"Say it."
"I won't move. I won't be loud. I'll look at you."
Do-yun smiled.
He leaned forward and kissed him, once, slowly, with his hands in his own lap.
Gyeol's lips followed him as he drew back.
"No," Do-yun said gently. "Hold still."
Gyeol held still.
Do-yun picked up the weasel-hair brush from the quilt beside his knee.
It was dry, and soft as a breath.
He drew it along the inside of Gyeol's thigh, from the knee to the crease of the hip, and watched the skin ripple.
