Graham Pell took four minutes to find.
His smiling face was on my mother's agency website, on a bus bench ad, and in a photo from the Dublin chamber dinner where he stood with his arm around her waist.

I scrolled through his social pages on my laptop at midnight with Wade asleep behind me.
I found nothing that proved anything.
Then Julian texted me a photo.
It was a screenshot of my mother's calendar, which she had once shared with him to book sessions.
Thursday, 2 p.m. 14 Marlow Court. Closing prep. G.
Every Thursday at two for eight months, a different empty house, always with the same initial.
I called him.
"I want to see it," I said.
"I'll drive."
Marlow Court was a new subdivision of brick colonials on cul-de-sacs, half the lawns still bare dirt.
