Chapter 19: Tell Me to Stop
The penthouse had an armchair now.
It was a big dark leather one, set in the middle of the floor facing the glass, with a lamp beside it that someone had delivered while we were on the lawn.
"You bought furniture," I said.
"I bought one piece of furniture." Lachlan closed the door behind us. "For this."
He took off his jacket and hung it on the lamp.
He sat in the chair and spread his knees, and looked at me across the room with a steady, patient hunger that I could feel on my skin.
"Take off your dress," he said.
I did.
I unzipped it slowly and stepped out, and stood there in my underwear, in the afternoon light, with my pulse hammering.
"All of it."
I took off the rest.
When I was bare he held out his hand, and I crossed the floor and took it.
He pulled me down across his knee.
I straddled his thigh.
The rough fabric of his trousers rubbed against my clit, and I gasped.
"Ride it," he said.
"What?"
"Ride my leg. Take what you need. Don't stop until I say."
My face burned.
I did it anyway.
I rocked my hips against the hard muscle of his thigh, my hands gripping his shoulders.
The friction sent bright pulses up through my stomach.
He watched me with calm hooded eyes.
"That's it," he said. "Look how wet you are. You're leaving a mark."
"God."
"Faster."
I went faster.
My breath came in short gasps, and he lifted one hand and cupped my breast, pinching the nipple, and I whimpered.
I was close.
I was so close that I could feel it starting.
