Chapter 5: The Back Seat
He parked in the lot behind the lighthouse and cut the engine, and the dark came in all at once.
The white tower stood over us, lit from below.
Past the dunes, the inlet ran black and quiet, and I could hear the water on the rocks.
I kissed him before he could take his hands off the wheel.
He made a sound in his chest and turned into it.
One hand came off the wheel and spread over the back of my head.
I worked the buttons of his shirt open with my free hand, one at a time, and slid my palm over his chest.
His skin was hot, and his heart was going hard under my hand.
"Taddeo," he said against my mouth. "We're in a parking lot."
"We're in a dark parking lot," I said.
"There's a gift shop. There's a docent."
"At eleven at night?" I said.
"You have a point," he said, and bit my lip.
I laughed into his mouth.
"Back seat," I said.
"The front seat is perfectly good."
"You said every touch is mine to start. I'm starting in the back seat."
He looked at me for a second in the green light of the dashboard.
Then he opened his door.
I climbed over the console and he climbed out and in again, and the back door shut behind him.
The leather was cool.
I pushed him down against the seat by the chest, and he went.
"Don't talk," he said, in a dry low copy of my voice from the hallway. "Isn't that what you told me?"
"Good memory."
"I count everything," he said. "Come here."
He pulled me up by the wrists and kissed me again, long and deep, with his hands under my blouse.
He unhooked my bra with one flick, and I pulled the blouse over my head and let it fall.
The air was cool on my skin for about a second.
Then his mouth was on my breast.
He sucked my nipple in, hard, and I cried out and held his head against me.
He moved to the other one, and licked it, and caught it very lightly in his teeth.
My hips ground against his thigh.
"Enough," I said, breathless. "I'm doing this first."
"First?"
"First."
He let me go and sat back, shirt open, chest heaving, and put his hands behind his head.
"Then I'm yours," he said.
I knelt on the floor mat between his knees.
The car was small for the two of us, and my shoulder hit the back of the driver's seat.
I did not care.
I undid his belt and opened his trousers while he watched me.
His head was back against the headrest and his glasses were pushed up in his hair.
His cock was already hard under the cotton.
I drew him out and held him in both hands, which I had wanted to do since the terrace.
He was thick and flushed and a little curved, and a bead of wetness stood on the tip.
"Look at you," I said.
"Is that a complaint?"
"No."
I licked the bead off.
He drew in a long breath through his teeth, and his hips jerked.
I took the head into my mouth and swirled my tongue around it, and he made a low sound that I felt in my knees.
