Chapter 14: Not Yet

Madoc's POV

She was tight and wet and burning around me.

I stopped with only the head of my cock inside her.

I had to.

If I moved, I would finish.

Nerys had her hands on my shoulders and her nails in my skin.

"Why are you stopping?" she said.

"Give me a moment."

"I don't want to give you a moment."

"I have waited thirty-eight years," I said. "Let me have one breath."

She went still under me, her expression softening.

Then she hooked her heel into the back of my thigh and pulled.

I went in to the root.

We both made a sound, hers high and broken, mine closer to a growl.

She was so hot that my vision whitened.

Her wolf and mine rose together, and the bond pulled tight between us.

For the first time in my life I felt completely whole.

"Move," she said. "Please. Move."

I moved.

I took her slowly at first, long hard strokes that made her gasp each time I bottomed out.

She wrapped her legs around my hips and met every thrust.

She was strong, and she used it, rolling her hips to take me deeper.

"Like that," she said. "Gods, like that."

I put my mouth to her throat, on the side free of the king's mark.

She turned her head to give me more.

"Bite me," she said.

My cock jerked inside her.

"Not yet."

"Why not?"

"Because the first time I bite you, it will be at the Stone, in front of the realm," I said against her skin.

"I gave you my word."

"You gave me a lot of words."

"I intend to keep this one."

She laughed, breathless, and clenched around me on purpose, and I swore.

"You're a menace," I said.

"You like it."

"I do."

I got my arm under her back and lifted her so she sat across my lap.

She sank down on me with her head thrown back.

Her breasts were against my chest and her hair fell down around us both.
