Chapter 14: Sunday

I woke on Easter morning with the church bells going on Williamsbridge Road and his mouth already on my shoulder.

He was lying behind me, warm and heavy, and he was hard against the curve of my ass.

"Good morning," he said into my skin.

"Don't move."

He went still.

"Is that an order?" he said.

"It's an order."

"Then I'm yours to order," he said, and I felt him smile.

I rolled over and looked at him.

The morning light lay across his face, and the gray at his temples, and the long mark my teeth had left on his shoulder.

He looked younger.

He looked rested, and he looked glad.

"On your back," I said.

He lay down and put his hands behind his head without being told.

"Good," I said. "Now keep them there."

"Yes."

I pulled the sheet off him and sat back on my heels to look.

He was thick and ready against his stomach, and a bead of wet shone at the head.

I did not touch him.

I climbed up the bed instead, on my knees, until I knelt over his chest.

His eyes went wide, and then dark.

"Drita."

"Yes?" I said.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm sitting on your face," I said. "If you want it."

His breath went out of him in one rough rush.

"Do I want it," he said. "Come here."

I moved forward until my knees were on either side of his head and my hands were gripping the headboard rail.

He lifted his chin and put his mouth on me before I had finished lowering.

I cried out.

His tongue went up the whole length of me in one long, flat stroke and found my clit and circled it.

His hands, which I had told to stay behind his head, stayed there, and the strain of it shook his arms.

"Oh, God," I said. "Oh, you're good. Luan."

He made a hum against me that traveled up my spine.

I rocked.

I pressed down on his mouth and slid forward and back, using him, riding his tongue and his lip and his chin.

His stubble scraped my thighs.
