Chapter 7: Face Down

Matti put me face down on my own bed before I'd finished telling him he could stay.

I hit the mattress with my chest, and he came down over my back with all his weight.

The quilt smelled of my laundry soap and his skin.

"You're limping again," he said into my ear.

"I'm not," I said.

"You're limping because of me."

"Don't flatter yourself, Kangas."

He laughed, low, and his chest shook against my shoulder blades.

I felt his hand slide up my spine, slowly, from the small of my back to the nape of my neck.

His thumb found the mark on my collarbone and pressed it, lightly.

I made a sound into the pillow.

"Does that hurt?" he said.

"Yes."

"Good," he said, and his voice was soft.

That startled me more than anything he'd done.

I turned my head to see his face, and he pushed it back down into the pillow with the flat of his palm.

"Stay," he said.

"Don't tell me what to do."

"Stay like that, Kay. Please."

I stayed.

He knelt up behind me and pulled my jeans and underwear down my hips in one long drag.

The cold air touched me, and then his hands did.

He put one palm flat on each cheek of my ass and spread me open and looked.

I heard his breath go in.

"Look at you," he said. "You're already wet for me."

"It's been three days."

"I know how long it's been."

He slid two fingers into me from behind, slowly, all the way to the knuckle, and pulled them out and did it again.

I rocked back against his hand and heard the wet sound of it.

"Harder," I said into the pillow.

"Not yet."

"Kangas. Don't make me ask twice."
