I didn't ask.
It nearly killed me, but I didn't ask.
On Saturday at six, the student gallery was full.
The spring show took the whole white room.

A dead outlet mall at midnight, fireworks over the boarded-up stores, and two people in the middle of a bend, very small, holding on.
I stood at the end of my wall in a dress Bea had picked out, which she said was a joke about the socks.
My hands were sweating.
People kept stopping.
A girl from the coffee line stood in front of the snow painting for a long time.
