Chapter 23: Aftercare
Sunlight poured through the open slats of the main room and lay across the floor in long gold bars.
It had never looked like this before.
For three years the shutters had been closed by day, and now every one of them stood wide, and the room was full of clean winter light and the smell of the pines.
The Consort had been carried at dawn to the warm guard house at the landing, where the physician kept a brazier burning.
"Take your room back," she had told her son, patting his face with a thin hand. "I have heard enough of it through the walls."
Gyeol had gone red to the ears.
Now he lay on his back on the thick quilts in the middle of the floor, naked, with his arms at his sides.
Do-yun knelt over him, fully dressed, and looked down.
"Hold still," he said.
"Yes, Master."
"I'm not going to tie you."
"I know."
"You'll do it because you want to."
"I do."
Gyeol's voice was low and sure.
His chest rose and fell in the sun, and his long hair lay spread around his head, glowing at the edges.
In the full light every line of him showed: the old scars, the swell of his shoulders, the dark tan that stopped at his collar and his wrists.
Do-yun untied his own jacket, slowly, and let it slide off.
He took off his trousers and kicked them aside.
He knelt there, naked and pale in the gold light, with his cock already thick and flushed.
He bent over the long body and kissed him, once, on the mouth.
Then he kissed down his throat, and his chest, and took one flat brown nipple between his teeth and tugged.
Gyeol arched his back, a shudder running through him.
His stomach hollowed as Do-yun's mouth passed over it, and his cock twitched against Do-yun's chin.
Do-yun licked the wet tip, once, with the point of his tongue, and sat up again.
