Chapter 13: Her Four Rules

Lachlan's front door shut behind the three of us, and the house was quiet and full of afternoon light.

I set my bag on the hall table.

"Before anybody touches anybody, I have rules," I said.

Tobias's mouth twitched.

Lachlan folded his arms and nodded. "Go on."

"One. Nothing behind my back. No pacts, no texts, no plans. If it has my name in it, I hear it first."

"Agreed," Lachlan said.

"Agreed," Tobias said. "What's two?"

"Two. Nobody hands me to anybody. I'm not a turn."

"Understood," Lachlan said, and his voice had gone rough.

"Three. When I want it rough, I'll say so, and neither of you holds back."

"Always," Tobias said.

"Four," Lachlan said. "You tell us what you want, out loud, every time. We've both had two years of guessing."

I almost smiled. "Four. Fine."

Then I took each of them by the hand and walked backward up the stairs.

I had never seen his bedroom, and I wanted to arrive leading.

It was a plain room, gray sheets and a big window with a maple outside it.

I let go of them and undressed myself.

Blazer first, then the blouse, then the skirt, slowly, while they stood at the foot of the bed and watched.

"God, Larissa," Tobias said.

Lachlan said nothing. He looked at my bare shoulders, and his hands closed at his sides.

"Come here," he said finally.

I sat on the edge of the bed in my underwear.

Lachlan knelt in front of me.

Tobias came up behind me and settled on the mattress with his chest against my back.

Tobias's mouth found the side of my neck, and Lachlan unhooked my bra with one hand.

Two sets of hands came up and took my breasts, one from the front and one from behind.

I made a sound that made them both go still.

"Say what you want," Lachlan said.

"I want your mouths on me. Both of you."

Tobias bit gently at my shoulder.

Lachlan lowered his head and took my nipple between his lips.

Tobias reached around and rolled the other one under his thumb.

I put my head back against Tobias's shoulder and let them.

When Lachlan drew my underwear down my legs, I lifted my hips to help him.

"Lie back," he said.
