Chapter 7: The Word He Heard

I went back to Dominique's flat on Friday night because page eight of my list had his name on it.

He had put candles on the long table by the window.

The river glittered below, and in the middle of the table lay a small black case, a bottle, and a folded white towel.

"Sit," he said.

I sat on the edge of the sofa. My ass was still sore from Armand's paddle, and the tenderness made me wriggle.

He noticed and smiled.

"Tell me what you wrote."

"You know what I wrote."

"I want to hear you say it."

My cheeks heated.

"I want you to fuck my ass," I said. "I want to be opened. I want you to take me there first, slowly, and then I want to beg you to take me harder."

"Why me?"

"Because you're the one who will be careful."

He studied me.

"Careful," he said. "Is that all?"

"And because you're the one I trust to do it properly."

"Come here."

I stood in front of him.

He undressed me himself, one piece at a time, with a patience that made my skin prickle.

When I was naked he turned me around and laid me over the arm of the sofa with my hips raised and my cheek against the cushion.

"Spread your legs. Wider."

I felt cool air on my wet pussy and on the place behind it.

His thumb stroked the sore flesh of my ass, and I flinched.

"Armand does good work," he said, with some admiration.

"He does."

"Does it hurt?"

"Only when you touch it. I like it."

"Good."

I heard the cap of the bottle open.

Something cool and slick touched me.

I tensed.

"Relax," he said.

"I am relaxed."

"No. You're not."

His finger, wet with oil, circled the tight ring of muscle, gently, over and over.

The sensation was strange and intimate and utterly shameless, and my cheeks burned into the cushion.

"Breathe out."

I breathed out. His fingertip pushed a little inside.

It burned.

I gasped.

"Good girl. Stay with me."

He slid it in slowly to the first knuckle, stopped, and waited for my body to loosen around it.
