Chapter 11: The Neck
"Rule," Chak said, on Sunday morning, in his own bed, with his own hand flat on Phat's chest. "Nothing above the collar."
"Whose collar?"
"Mine. My uncle comes at one. He sees everything." His mouth curved. "You left a very nice bruise on my shoulder last Thursday, and he looked at it for an entire course of dinner."
"I noticed."
"No marks where he can see."
"Fine," Phat said.
He rolled over on top of him, and sat astride his hips, and looked down.
Chak was lying back against the pillows with his hair in his eyes, shirtless in the white morning light.
The dragon on his forearm lay across his stomach.
He was looking up at Phat with a fixed, dark attention that made Phat's mouth water.
"What?" Chak said.
"Nothing." Phat pulled his glasses off and set them on the nightstand. "I like the view."
"Is that so."
"I've never been on top of the kingpin of Bangkok," Phat said.
"You're still not."
"Watch me."
He leaned down and kissed him, long and thoroughly.
Chak made a low sound and his hands came up to Phat's hips and rested there.
