Chapter 17: The Tub

The claw-foot tub on the second floor was long enough for him, and I filled it hot enough to fog the mirror.

I stood Nikos in the middle of the bathroom, in the steam, and undressed him as slowly as I had ever done anything.

Hugh's men had driven him home to his own bed an hour before.

The house was ours, and every door was open.

I had just said yes in a dark car on the Dundalk road.

"Say it again," Nikos said, low.

"Yes."

"Say what it's for."

"For you," I said. "For all of it. Arms up."

He lifted them, and I pulled his shirt off and dropped it on the tile.

I undid his belt and knelt to take his jeans down.

He stepped out of them with a hand on my shoulder.

When I stood up he was naked in the lamplight, huge and flushed, with the red mark of my teeth on his shoulder.

I touched it with one finger.

"That's going to stay a few days," I said.

"Good."

I took off my own clothes and left them where they fell.

Then I took his hand and led him to the edge of the tub, and he stepped in.

The water came up over his calves, and he lowered himself into it with a long breath.

He lay back against the curved iron with his knees up and his arms spread along the rim.

The water steamed at his chest.

He looked at me with his whole face open.

"Come here," Nikos said.

"Not yet."

I sat on the rim at the foot of the tub with my feet in the water and my knees apart.

I put one foot on his chest.

I slid it slowly down his stomach, through the water, until my toes brushed the base of his cock.

He drew in a breath, and his hips lifted.

"Lena," he said.

"Look at me," I said.

"I'm looking," he said.

"Good. Don't stop."

I leaned back on my hands and watched him watch me.

I let my thighs fall open on the cold porcelain edge, and I touched myself where he could see.
