Chapter 22: All Night
The suite door had barely clicked shut when he put me on the bed.
The room was a wall of dark glass and a king bed with white linens, and the whole sleeping city lay below it.
He took my dress off in one pull.
He took the rest of me off with his hands and his mouth.
I lay on the cool sheets naked and ready, with my hair spread across the pillow.
"Tonight," he said, kneeling over me, "I'm going to take my time."
"You've been taking your time for three weeks."
"Not like this."
He undressed himself without looking away from me.
He took off the coat, the turtleneck, the belt, until he stood bare at the foot of the bed.
The light from the window showed the pink seam on his side and the burn scar bright on his arm.
He was so hard that he lay against his own stomach.
I held out my arms.
"Come here."
He came.
He settled between my thighs and kissed me, slow and deep, with his weight braced on his forearms.
I wrapped my legs around his hips and rocked up against him.
"Wait," he said.
"I don't want to."
"Wait."
He kissed down my body, to my breasts, to my belly, and I let my knees fall wide.
He didn't go lower.
He came back up and took my ankles in his hands, one in each.
He folded my legs up until my knees were by my shoulders and my feet rested on his chest.
I felt wide open, tilted, bare to him.
"Cal."
"Look at me."
"I'm looking."
"Tonight I'm going to fill you. I'm going to put everything I have in you, and you're going to take it."
"Yes."
"You're going to take every drop."
I whimpered.
He pushed my ankles up onto his shoulders, and bent forward until my legs were pressed against my breasts, and lined himself up.
