Chapter 7: On My Terms
He took me to bed, and I took his belt off him.
He stood beside the bed with his hands open, and I sat on the edge of the quilt and looked up at him.
The lamp made a small gold circle on the ceiling.
Beyond the black window, the ice ran out to nothing.
"You're not going to touch me yet," I said.
"No," he said.
"Lie down."
He lay on his back on the quilt, and I rose onto my knees beside him.
I looked at him for a long time.
I had washed and turned and held more bodies than I could count, old and young and gone, and I knew what skin looks like when it has given up.
His had not.
It was tight and warm and flushed to the collarbone, and his stomach moved with each hard breath.
"Jeans," I said.
"You do it."
I did.
I unbuttoned them and dragged them down his thighs, and the rest with them, and tossed them over the edge of the bed.
He was long and thick and hard, and the head of him glistened.
I sat back on my heels and looked at him.
"Elin," he said roughly. "You'll kill me."
"Not yet."
I wrapped my hand around him.
He was hot and hard in my fist, and he jerked, and a groan tore out of his chest.
I stroked him once, slowly, from the root to the tip.
His hips came up off the bed.
"Hands above your head," I said.
He put them above his head, and gripped the iron rail of the headboard.
I watched his knuckles go white.
I bent over him and licked a slow wet stripe up the underside of his cock.
