Chapter 11: The Floor Above
The bed was enormous and bare, with white sheets that had never been slept in.
He laid me on it, wet from the tub, and the cold cotton made me shiver.
He stood at the foot and looked down at me for a long time.
"What?" I said.
"I'm deciding how to do this."
"Do what?"
"Make you come until you can't remember the cellar."
My stomach went hot and tight.
"That's a lot of pressure."
"It's a plan." He opened the nightstand drawer. "I bought this a week ago. For after. I didn't know if you'd want it."
He held up a slim white wand with a rounded head, and my face went red.
"Lachlan."
"I'm saying yes," I said. "Put it on me."
His grin was slow and dangerous.
He climbed onto the bed and knelt between my legs.
He put the wand on the sheet next to my hip and didn't touch it.
Instead he put his mouth on me.
He licked me slow and long, the way he'd done in the kitchen, but this time he wasn't in a hurry.
He took his time.
He circled my clit with the tip of his tongue until I was arching off the mattress.
He lifted his head and picked up the wand.
It hummed.
The vibration hit my clit, and I cried out.
"Easy," he said. "Easy. I've got you."
He held the head against me, and I thrashed.
"Hold still."
"I can't."
"You can. You're good at this."
He slid two fingers inside me while the wand buzzed, and curled them up and forward, and all the nerve endings in my body lit at once.
I came in seconds.
I shouted, clutching the sheets, and my thighs clamped around his shoulders.
He didn't stop.
He lowered the wand to a gentler setting and kept stroking.
The second climb rose through the first one without letting me down.
