Chapter 14: Blindfold
The blue tie lay across his eyes.
I knotted it at the back of his head.
"Can you see?" I asked.
"No."
"Good."
He knelt on my bed in the lamplight, naked, with his hands resting on his thighs.
His chest rose and fell in short uneven breaths.
I had told him to undress at the door.
I had told him to kneel in the middle of the mattress and not to move until I said.
He had not moved in six minutes.
I walked slowly around the bed, and he turned his head toward the sound of my bare feet.
"Where are you?" he said.
"Close."
I trailed one finger along his shoulder.
He shuddered.
"There's something on the nightstand," I said. "I bought it this afternoon. I'm going to tell you what it is, so you don't have to guess."
"Tell me."
"It's a vibrator. A wand. It's white and about as long as my forearm, and it has four speeds."
His throat moved.
"I'm going to use it on myself," I said. "You're going to hear me. You're not going to touch anything until I tell you. When I tell you, you're going to do exactly what I say."
"Yes."
"And you're going to wait."
"I can wait."
"We'll see."
I climbed onto the bed in front of him and leaned back against the headboard and spread my legs.
I wore nothing at all.
I picked up the wand and thumbed the switch, and a low hum filled the room.
His head jerked toward it.
"Lily."
"Shh. Listen."
I touched it to my thigh first, light and slow, and then higher.
The first brush of the head against my clit made me gasp.
It was a rich, humming pressure, steady and deep, and my whole body clenched.
