Chapter 30: Every Rule

Nathaniel did not speak in the elevator, or in the hall, or in the car.

At the penthouse door he put his keys down on the table very carefully, and turned me around, and pushed me against the wall.

"You wrote a fund for her on a napkin," he said. "You never knew her name."

"I don't know her name."

"I know."

"I know what she meant to you. I didn't need the rest."

His cock was already hard, rising out of the water, and I wrapped my hand around it.

"Imogen."

"Let me."

I took the head into my mouth, and he groaned and put his head back against the tile.

I sucked him slowly, down as far as I could, and pulled back with my tongue flat along the underside.

He fisted a hand in my wet hair, and did not guide me, only held on.
