Chapter 7: The Cot

He had both my wrists in one hand and he held them over my head against the wall.

The cot frame groaned under us, and the wool blanket was a bunched rough mess under my back.

Afternoon light came through the one high window in a gray square on the ceiling.

I was naked, and he was still in his T-shirt, with his jeans shoved to his knees.

"Don't move them," Levi said.

"Or what?"

"Or I stop."

I made a sound of pure disgust.

He grinned, and I had not seen that yet, the grin, and it lit up his whole broken-nosed face.

"Stop what?" he said. "Say it."

"Fucking me."

"Then keep them there."

I kept them there.

He slid his free hand down my ribs, and over the bruise at my collarbone, and down the soft inside of my thigh.

He took my right knee and pushed it up and out until my foot came off the mattress.

Then the left.

He folded me nearly in half, with my calves over his shoulders and my heels on his back, and every inch of me opened to him.

"Look at that," he said, low.

"Don't look. Do it."

"I'm doing both."

He pushed into me.

He took it slowly at first, because of the angle, and I felt every inch of him arrive.

I stopped breathing.

He went all the way, until his hips were flush against the backs of my thighs and his weight came down on me full.

I made a sound I'd never made in my life.

It was so deep it was almost pain.

"There," he said. "That's all of it."

"God," I said.

"You asked for this."

"Yes," I said.

"Say it again."

"I asked for this. I asked, Levi. Move."

He moved.

He fucked me hard and short, a hard grinding drive from the hip that rocked the cot into the wall.
