Chapter 15: Praise
"On your back," said Seo-wan, "and keep your hands where I can see them."
The lamp was turned low, and the quilts lay pushed down to the foot of the bed.
Tae-heon lay in the middle of the mat with his arms above his head and his long hair spread out.
He watched her undo her jacket string by string.
She was in no hurry.
Today she had aired the Cold Wing at dawn.
Then she had sat on the end of a bed while a girl of fourteen told her three stories about the palace cat.
Tonight she wanted the next thing she had decided on.
"I'm going to tell you what I like," she said.
His breath caught.
"All of it. Out loud. And you'll say each thing back to me, so I know you've heard it."
"Yes, Doctor."
"You've been guessing at me for ten days. You've guessed well. I want you to stop guessing."
She dropped the jacket, and the chemise after it.
She knelt over his hips in nothing but her skirt, which she left bunched around her waist.
His eyes went to her breasts and stayed there.
"Start with that," she said. "Look as long as you like. I like being looked at."
"You like being looked at."
"I like it when you look and don't touch yet."
"You like it when I look and don't touch yet."
His voice had gone rough.
She took his hands and set them flat on the mat.
"Now touch. Slowly. Just my sides first."
He ran his palms up her ribs, warm and wide, and she shivered.
"I like your hands there. I like that they're big, and warm, and not in a hurry."
"You like my hands there. You like that they're big and warm and not in a hurry."
"Now my breasts. Under, with your thumbs on top."
He cupped her.
His thumbs brushed her nipples, light, and she arched into it with a small sound.
