Chapter 15: The Right Door
His room was on the top floor, at the end of a hall with a red carpet.
I knocked once and he opened it before my hand came down.
He had taken off the black shirt.
He wore a gray undershirt and jeans, with bare feet, and he looked at me for a long time without saying anything.
"I came to the right door," I said.
"Yes."
"Is this in the VIP package?"
His mouth moved.
"It's a separate tier," Eli said. "You asked me in Madrid."
"It's Madrid."
"Louisa."
"Earn it, I said." I stepped past him into the room, and he shut the door behind me, and the lock clicked. "I haven't changed my mind. I want to watch you do it."
He breathed out through his teeth.
"Say where."
"Everything in the open. That's my rule. You say what you're doing before you do it."
"Then take your shirt off."
My fingers weren't steady on the buttons.
He watched every one of them.
When the shirt dropped, he stepped in and put his hands on my waist, over the bare skin, and I felt his palms shake the way they had in the hall.
"You're nervous," I said.
"I've been wanting this since a gray folder."
"That's a terrible line."
"It's true."
I kissed him then, hard, with my hands in his hair, and he lifted me by the backs of my thighs.
He walked me to the bed and put me down on the edge, and went to his knees on the carpet between my legs.
My bra went, and then my jeans.
His thumbs hooked into my underwear and pulled it down my legs in one slow drag.
"I said I'd tell you first," he said, looking up. "I'm going to taste you. I'm going to use my mouth until you come on it."
"Do it."
He pushed my knees wide with both hands.
