Chapter 7: Tina's POV

Tina's POV

The ice house on Hillsborough Bay smelled of brine, diesel and cold steel.

It was Wednesday night, the fifth night, and Rafa had unlocked the big sliding door and switched on one string of work lights.

The rest of the long concrete floor lay in shadow.

Boats knocked softly against the dock outside.

Down the middle of the room ran a row of stainless packing tables, bare and gleaming.

I stood at the end of the first one in my mother's old raincoat.

Rafa stood on my left and Quino on my right.

Dom sat in a folding chair at the edge of the dark, forty feet back, with his hands on his knees.

"Take your clothes off," I said. "Both of you."

"Yes, jefa," Rafa said.

Quino did not speak.

They undressed, side by side, and neither of them looked at the other.

Rafa dropped his shirt and trousers on the concrete, and his gold crucifix swung against his chest.

Quino folded his things and set them on a crate.

I looked at the two of them naked under the work lights, the big one and the lean one.

A hot weight settled low in my belly.

"Rule," I said. "You don't touch each other."

Rafa snorted.

"Reina, I would not dream of it."

"Not until I say."

"And then?" Rafa said, and he grinned at me.

"Then I'll tell you."

I let the raincoat fall.

I wore nothing under it, and the cold air from the ice machine touched every inch of my skin.

"Kneel," I said. "No. I kneel."

I went down on the wet concrete between them.

I took Rafa in my right hand and Quino in my left.

They were both hard already, heavy and hot in my fists.

I looked up at them.

"Eyes on me. Not on each other."

I put my mouth on Rafa first.

He groaned out loud, and the sound rang off the steel.

I sucked him slowly, with my other hand working Quino, my thumb over the head.

Then I turned my face and took Quino into my mouth.
