Chapter 20: Octavia's POV: Blindfold
Octavia's POV
"Tomorrow the whole creek looks at me," I said. "Tonight I don't want to see anything."
I knelt on the end of my bed in the dark of my own head, with Gran's blue cloth tied over my eyes.
She had pressed it into my hand at Easter, still smelling of her cedar chest.
It was the same blue as my porch ceiling.
"You run it," I said. "Both of you. I don't give one order."
Nobody spoke.
I heard the bed creak under the weight of two men, and a long breath that was Boone's.
"Ma'am," he said.
"Not ma'am tonight."
"Tavi," he said.
"Better."
Hands took my shoulders.
They were rough, with calluses across the heel of the palm, and they turned me gently and drew me up off my knees.
"Who?" Rhett said, from somewhere near my ear.
"You," I said. "Rope hands."
"And?"
A second hand slid up my ribs, lighter, cooler, with a long fingertip that stopped on my breast.
"Boone."
"How do you know?" Rhett said.
"You touch me slow and you wait for an answer."
He made a small sound.
I felt him smile against my cheek.
They undressed me with four hands and no hurry.
Rhett unfastened my bra and kissed the back of my neck.
Boone knelt, and drew my underwear down, and kissed my hip where the strap had been.
I could not see where either of them was.
Every kiss came out of the dark and landed somewhere new.
My skin was lit up with it.
"Stand," Rhett said.
I stood on the bed, wobbling, and a hand caught my waist.
"Hold on to me."
I found his shoulders.
Rhett lifted me.
He put one arm under each knee and drew them apart, so I hung against his chest with my legs spread and my back flat on the wall of his body.
I felt his cock, hot and hard, against the small of my back.
